For her birthday Miss 3 was getting a mini kitchen so mum thought her daughter would need the Chef 4 piece set to make the gift complete. I made the apron which was double thickness, trimmed in lace with kitten fabric binding and straps and pockets. A multifit Chef hat made in the same fabric and oven mitt. And of course a little matching scrunchie to tie the hair back. So cute. She loved it.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS ~ Alterations & Repairs

When our precious wee ones start school the uniforms can look so very large on them. Their uniforms can be taken in and taken up. As a parent, and now grandparent, I know how fast kids grow. To get the maximum use of the uniforms I will always avoid cutting excess hem off. I will use a double fold hem so it can be let down as your child grows.

I give priority to “Back to School” uniform alterations every year and appreciate as much lead time as possible so no one is disappointed.

Accidents happen during vigorous play and sport which can result in torn uniforms. In most cases these can be repaired along with broken zippers.
